stupid ass fake mascot, who wanna fite me!???!

okay so i got bored and made a fake mascot for glamfur, though i feel i should've used brighter colors... though i still like her design, she's cute. obviously she is based off of japanese mascots, and fun fact; her name is both based off of the word "nu-glamfur" and Trent Reznor's last name ;P and yes she does wear claw extensions.

Spidersnaps: Color at my disposal

I had black and white in both of my cameras in June 2025, but there was one event that month I really wanted to cover in color, and with the rolls nowhere near being finished, I decided to pick up a disposable Kodak Funsaver for THB 620 (about USD19, and that was actually a discounted price), which is steep especially for 27 exposures (!) Obviously the extra money goes into the camera mechanisms, but what also makes the Funsaver different from typical box film is that Funsavers are loaded with 800 ISO film, thus making it twice as sensitive as 400 ISO film, and therefore more capable of getting pictures, as long as you hold down the flash button firmly for indoor shots that need it :-) (Although, strictly speaking, these disposables can be reloaded and even enhanced while we're at it, that's something for other more capable persons :-))

Uglydog's not so ugly!

I was browsing side7.com and i just found a pretty cool artist from back in the day. their angular style really stood out to me, and it kind of reminded me of Zer and Chair's old styles. here's the link.

my own lil life update

hihi to anyone reading this ;D
ik some ppl have subbed to my page, so hello 2 u guys specifically as well :3

my summer is quickly coming to an end... im starting my last year of high school and have a LOT to do.
but, my summer was quite nice.

I travelled to the US east coast and had an amazing time at a summer program. I know i complain a lot about humanity and my classmates, but at the summer program, I think I met some of the best people ever.

Like i smiled so much my face hurt. I laughed a ton, I could be myself UNAPOLOGETICALLY, and it seemed like ppl liked me for being me. we had karaoke nights, we would sit together at lunch and joke around, play cards until our hands hurt, had a ton of random ahh inside jokes, helped a friend hook up w someone, danced the night away in NYC, etc., etc., etc.

tldr, it was awesome. (not just in the ppl sense; i also learned a ton of rly cool social justice stuff. but id rather not talk about it for right now, since im still organising my notes.)

So this has given me some hope that I will find some friends when I graduate and go to wherever I get accepted :)

My summer program was at my dream school...participating in the camp just makes me yearn to go there even more :0 we had professors from the university come present for us and we got to use the facilities in and around the campus... like it was genuinely so cool!!! if that's what being a student is like and the professors hosts their seminars and courses like that, then count me in!

the problem is, the university is like. one of THE MOST prestigious ones, and of course, everyone will apply.
if i dont get in, i dont get in. maybe im just not what they need that specific year, especially with the new US laws [and who knows what else is yet to come for universities ;_; ], and it doesnt reflect my intelligence and whether or not I am a good student.

(i mean. ill still be sad. but im not gonna like destroy myself over it.)

but yeah; ive been quite busy over the summer with college things. Although i like my school and i love my city, I cant wait for something new :)
i want to be able to express myself, meet new people and hear their stories, and just like. exist, man.

(this is in part bc of my busy schedule and applications to uni/college + Liliana also having to go back to school.)
also the reason why I have been so inactive during the summer lol; thanks fer bearing w/ us :'P

This group has grown considerably! Just a reminder that all of u guys who are subscribed or members can write yer own stuff!
(Dreamwidth is kinda dead when it comes 2 interaction on smaller pages ... we wanna break that stigma tho!! If u ever want to write about anything 2000s, this is your place!! We're all here 2 listen :3 that's why we're here in the first place!!)

We haven't existed for quite as long of a time as some other groups, but I'm really happy that we have people who are interested in what we have 2 offer :) <3

Carnival Freakshow - About Twoface

Twoface's a demented ghoul beagle jester who's mega protective of Junko and makes sure that she gets to smile every day—no suffering or pain, PERIOD! His abilities include being able to turn his victims into life-sized marionettes who follow his every whim, having razor sharp claws that can reduce anything to mere scraps, and merging into the shadows to surprise attack his targets. He's a big user of LSD, Meth and Angel Dust; he claims drugs help with his "concentration". To describe his looks would be, imagine a somewhat tall dude with long rough hair, heavy eye-shadowed baggy eyes, pointy teeth. Back when he was still mortal, he ran a practical joke shop alongside his boyfriend as a way to share his passion for comedy and to make ends meet. His store was located on a street owned by a group of wealthy but heartless slum landlords who used violence as a means of control... For Twoface, every week was a battle to gather all the needed payments to avoid the wrath of their goons and whatever horrors could await him. One unfortunate evening, amidst a frigid winter's night, Twoface (Uesato Yosai) and his partner Shigeru were in a state of panic and haste; attempting to gather all the money they had earned that week; it had been a sluggish week at the store, and they had been inundated with nothing but menacing letters from the landlord and his elk. [WIP]

I've been busy doodling a fuck ton of Twoface in my sketchbook, and I can't wait to scan and upload it for all you lovelies to see! ♡(❤ω❤)

jestercat -- possible current whereabouts?

okay, i know that jestercat isn't exactly 'glamfur' but she faved a bunch of art made by people in the scene so she probably was somewhat in the scene or had friends innit. so anyways, i was searching the interwebz for jestercat's current whereabouts (as suggested by the title..lol) and, well, i found this this instagram page. while i can't completely confirm that this is her, a lot of things do add up like her name and her also being from Edmonton, Canada. if this is indeed her, she still draws (which is a great thing!) and is now a tattoo artist!

there's also some other accounts using her name but her instagram is seemingly the website she uses the most, but i think she also has a facebook account though she isn't as active there ~_~

It's okay but it doesn't AT ALL

I'm sweating buckets of sweat because I just had PE as my last class. I'm used to having PEs near afterschool, lol.

So, I'm in 10th grade now. I'm in AP Biology so I'm expected to study at home too. They called it time-extensive. But then after Geometry it goes downhill because the teacher sounds so strict about work and stuff. I know work is expected. The fact that this school year starts off strict and challenging makes me feel worse ;___;
Aside from that I haven't been active in months, better thank PE for keeping me awake.

There are friends from 5th grade alongside some from my previous class too. But the fact that nobody talked to me gave me the urge to tear people's bodies >:( (oh great. I'm edgy) but hey. My other friends in other classes seem happy. The guys in class were outgoing as usual and Folk got a new jacket. It looks so cool. Wow.

It's not doing well so far.

But if work gets sorted out I'd be happy too o__o
